At the beginner level, individuals are able to identify the key elements of a brand and understand how they contribute to the overall image and perception of the company. They should be able to develop basic strategies for promoting and strengthening the brand, such as through social media, advertising, and customer service. They can also track and analyze key metrics related to brand awareness and engagement, but may not have extensive experience or expertise in more advanced brand enhancement techniques such as rebranding or creating comprehensive brand guidelines. They also need guidance and support from more experienced team members in order to effectively execute their brand enhancement strategies.

Intermediate competence definition

Intermediate individuals have a strong understanding of the brand and how it is perceived by customers and stakeholders. They can develop and implement more advanced strategies for strengthening and promoting the brand, such as through content marketing, influencer partnerships, and public relations efforts. They can also track and analyze a wide range of metrics related to brand performance, and use this data to inform their strategy and make data-driven decisions. We have also found that they’re able to identify and address potential brand challenges or weaknesses, and develop plans to address them. At this level, they may also have some experience in rebranding or creating comprehensive brand guidelines, and may be able to lead or manage brand enhancement efforts within their organization.

Advanced competence definition

Advanced professionals have extensive knowledge and experience in all aspects of brand management and promotion. They develop and implement highly effective strategies for enhancing the brand and driving business results, and are able to adapt their approach to changing market conditions and customer needs. They can track and analyze a wide range of metrics related to brand performance, using them to make data-driven decisions that drive business growth. They also have extensive experience in rebranding and creating comprehensive brand guidelines, and should be able to lead and manage brand enhancement efforts within their organization. We have found they effectively communicate the value and importance of the brand to stakeholders and employees, and should be able to inspire and motivate others to work towards the brand’s goals.
